It happened on, May 27th, in Porto Alegre, AMD Mink Training 2010. A team of 25 people Compujob was there to receive all the new and important information from AMD about their products and releases to the market of computer technology.

The event consisted of lectures on market and business opportunities, the exhibition area of distributors and manufacturers of notebooks and various raffles prizes. The closure was due to a Happy Hour sponsored by AMD with all participants.

The two big stories of the night

- The Phenom II X6: the expected launch of AMD’s mega! This is the new generation of desktop processors from AMD that brings great prominence as the support, nothing more nothing less, than six cores! Among its most anticipated features is the AMD Core Turbo technology that accelerates to 3 cores of these processors in situations where other 3 cores are not being asked.

- The second major issue was the ATI Eyefinity Experience: technology Eyefinity ATI, AMD, provides an advanced multi-display (or multi-monitor) which gives the user an immersive new experience in graphic terms. Let us explain: so far, the vast majority of video cards only support two independent monitors simultaneously, and graphics solutions that support more than two monitors typically use a combination of multiple GPUs (Graphics Processing Unit) per plate. With the introduction of the new generation of graphics products from ATI with support for DirectX 11, a GPU has the ability to simultaneously support up to six monitors simultaneously: this is the technology ATI Eyefinity!

To give you an idea of what the technology Eyefinity ATI, AMD has released on its website a simulator for the thing! Take a look!
